Planning pages
Different products need different conveyor surfaces, side guides, transfer methods and line speeds.
These pages help explain conveyor options by pack type so the enquiry can include the right dimensions, weight and handling details.

Load handling
The same conveyor may move several product formats, but the smallest base, highest centre of gravity, lightest empty pack or heaviest filled pack can control support, guides, speed and transfers.
Record base, height, finish, empty/filled mass and permissible guide contact.
Record underside stiffness, contact points, mass distribution and accumulation need.
Continuous support and a controlled transfer gap are often the first concerns.
The initial enquiry does not need a finished engineering drawing, but it should separate confirmed data from assumptions. Record the load range, route, target flow, operating environment and interfaces. Unknown values can then be measured or tested rather than guessed.
Project review
Lancing can use the product, route and operating information to define the next engineering checks and quotation scope.
