Conveyor Quote Checklist: what to check first

Send product details first: length, width, height, diameter where relevant, weight, base shape, stability and whether the item is empty, filled, sealed or labelled.

Send the route next: overall length, width, start height, discharge height, bends, inclines, curves, transfers, operator positions and neighbouring equipment.

Finally send the operating details: speed target, products per minute or hour, environment, cleaning needs, power supply, controls, installation constraints and any repeated problems you want to solve.

Conveyor Quote Checklist FAQs

What photos should I send?

Send product photos, current line photos, transfer point photos and any space restrictions around the intended conveyor route.

Do I need a drawing?

A basic sketch is often enough early on. A dimensioned drawing is helpful for final quotation and installation planning.

Should I include future products?

Yes. Future pack sizes can affect conveyor width, guide adjustment, speed range and layout choices.

Need a shortlist?

Tell us the product, route and output target.

We will help narrow the conveyor type, layout considerations and the details needed for a practical quotation.
